Scotch Bonnet also known as Caribbean red peppers is a variety of chili pepper named for its resemblance to a man Scottish hat. Scotch bonnets have a heat rating of 100,000–350,000 Scoville Heat units.

The fruits are naturally cured, sun & Air dried, and grounded to make the powdered spice of the same name.

These very hot peppers are used to flavor many different dishes and cuisines worldwide mostly Caribbean, central American and West African and are often used in hot sauces and condiments.
